I was super excited when I saw the Whyte Urkle come in because I’m a pretty huge fan of everything Sweetwater Farms does. Their flower is always so aromatic and flavorful. Not to mention this strain is exclusive to Hashtag, so I felt extra special getting to be one of the first to try it!

The first thing that caught my eye was, of course, their incredible packaging and graphics. They describe the flavors as citrus, bubble gum, and sage. Bubble gum and sage! I had to try it for myself.

I definitely smelled the citrus right when I opened the jar. I also understand how they got the bubblegum and sage from it; it’s really unique. It was also really sour for me. The prominent terpenes are Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Limonene - truly three of my favorite terpenes! I always feel like the strain hits a little harder when there’s a good amount of Myrcene.

The buds on this 60% indica flower are really pretty and frosty. More fluffy than dense. It was both sticky and easy to work with. I saw tiny hints of purple in the buds and tons of trichomes.

The high was very relaxed, but I was still able to be productive, which is pretty important to me during this quarantine. I know a lot of us have been consuming more cannabis than we typically do in order to manage the stress of these unprecedented times, but personally, I need to balance the stress relief with avoiding too much relaxation, because I don’t need more reasons to sink into the couch.

I enjoyed this while staying busy, playing fetch with my dog in the yard, cleaning the house, and doing some gentle yoga.

I also spent plenty of time lounging and watching Disney+ with this strain, which I cannot recommend enough during this time.

Sweetwater describes this strain as being euphoric and relaxed, and it definitely lived up to the hype. It had a great body high without being overwhelming. It felt functional and relaxed at the same time, which is tricky for me to accomplish! I got a 3.5g, but would definitely pick up a 7g.

Perhaps the best part of this strain is the suggested activity: social distancing. Thanks for looking out, Sweetwater friends!

With the help of Whyte Urkle, it was easy to keep myself busy and entertained in isolation. This was honestly the perfect quarantine strain because the smell was so pungent and the effects so versatile.

It was also a really nice strain for celebrating 420 indoors, which was not ideal, but Whyte Urkle totally saved the day. Great for staying sane and positive, which we could all use a little help with.
