Hashtag Cannabis remains committed to transparency in all we do. To that end, we’re here to answer an important question for all our guests:

  • What pesticides are used by Hashtag’s partners who grow flower?

  • And regarding Hashtag’s partners whose infused products we sell, like concentrates, cartridges, edibles, and topicals, what pesticides were applied to the base marijuana that was used to create the concentrate or extract added to those infused products?

Pesticides come in many forms, from chemicals to beneficial predator bugs. To our best knowledge, we offer you all the information we have about the pesticides applied to the products we sell.

  • At certain times in the year, Canna Organix may use beneficial insects as a preventive measure in their canopy and soil

  • Predatory Mites: at different times of the year, they use a variety of species: Amblyseius swirskii and A. cucumeris for the canopy, and S. scimitus for the soil. They also release these in our clone trays as they never apply pesticides to newly cut clones.

  • Nematodes: species Steinernema feltiae as a preventative measure in our soil.

  • Beneficial predators such as stratiolaelaps and nematodes, only used when they encounter any pests.

  • “Everything we grow is from seeds that we pheno hunted (selected the best one) ourselves, and therefore are “unique" to our farm. While some others may have similar genetics, no one will have our cultivars”.
