Servings: 6

Cannabis Dispensary weed RSO THC

Cauliflower and chicken THC-infused hot wings.

This recipe yields a lot of sauce--so you can repurpose the leftover sauce as a marinade, mix it into a stir-fry, or throw it on top any other savory dish for a stoney boost!

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. chicken wings, cut into bite-sized pieces (or substitute 3 lbs. cauliflower for vegetarians/vegans)

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp kosher salt

  • 1 tbsp of freshly-ground black pepper

For the Sauce

  • 0.5g of distillate oil or CO2 oil

  • 2 jalapeno or serrano peppers, minced

  • 5 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 inches of fresh ginger root, grated

  • 1 cup rice vinegar

  • ½ cup water

  • ½ cup soy sauce

  • 3 Tbsp dark sesame oil

  • ½ cup dark brown sugar

  • 2 Tbsp fish sauce (omit for vegan recipe)

  • 1 tsp chili powder

For Garnish

  • 1 bunch cilantro, finely chopped

  • 1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 475 ° F.

Step 2

Combine the flour, chili powder, salt and ground black pepper in a large mixing bowl. If using chicken, pat the wings dry with a paper towel. Add the chicken wings or cauliflower to mix in bowl. Toss until lightly coated, adding more flour if needed.

Step 3

Line a metal baking sheet with aluminum foil. For chicken: top the lined baking sheet with a wire rack. For cauliflower: lightly oil the lined baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes, rotating the sheet halfway through baking.

Step 4

While baking the chicken or cauliflower, combine all sauce ingredients, including the 0.5g distillate or CO2 oil, in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook the sauce until it has reduced to a syrupy consistency, about 20 minutes.

For chicken wings, remove from oven, and heat the broiler on high. Adjust oven rack to 6 inches below broiler. Brown 5-8 minutes until golden, flipping the wings halfway through broiling.

Step 5

Option 1: Add the wings or cauliflower to a large serving bowl, and coat with the sauce while it’s still warm. Pray that you don’t end up with too much THC on your plate, trapped on your couch for the longest high of your life.

Option 2: To make THC dosage more accurate, divide into 6 servings (of a half pound of wings or cauliflower per serving) in separate bowls, and coat each serving with 2 tablespoons sauce. Each serving will contain approximately 60mg THC per serving.

Step 6

Garnish with the green onions and cilantro. Eat up!
