Spending the Day in Fremont

Have you ever spent the day exploring Fremont, a neighborhood in Seattle, Washington? In this blog, I will be telling you about our favorite places to visit in the Fremont neighborhood. First off, I wanted to start with a fun fact that not many people know about Fremont. Did you know it was named after the town of Fremont, Nebraska? The two founders were Luther H. Griffith and Edward Blewet, and they named the town the same name as their hometown in Nebraska!

We had to start our day with a stop at Hashtag Seattle at 224 Nickerson! Our knowledgeable and friendly budtenders are happy to help you find what you're looking for! We have a large selection of products carefully curated by our expert purchasing team.

After we finished up at Hashtag, we headed over to Peace, Love, and Happiness, a beloved plant shop in Fremont. PLH describes itself as a "Tropical Oasis" that brings joy to collectors of nature's art, and we couldn't agree more! PLH grows and imports rare and exotic plants from around the world and also sells pottery to showcase them. Also, make sure you check out their candles and crystals. You will definitely not leave empty-handed as something is sure to catch your eye!

Just around the corner is another Fremont gem, the Fremont Vintage Mall!

If you are a fan of thrifting and vintage clothing finds, you will love this place! There is so much more than just clothing; they also have collectibles, antiques, records, art, memorabilia, accessories, local jewelry designers, and much, much more. We even found some beautiful "vases."

Next, we headed to our favorite record store in Fremont, Jive Time!

For over 20 years, Jive Time has been Fremont's premier vinyl destination. If you are a lover of music, this place is for you!

There are so many great records to choose from, and they have lovely people working there to help you find whatever you are looking for.

Lastly, we ended up at our favorite bar and restaurant in Fremont, Dreamland Bar & Diner. Known for their drag brunches and their beautiful interior design, Dreamland is a perfect way to end the day after exploring Fremont. The food and drinks are always incredible. We highly recommend you try the dragonfruit margaritas, and if they have seating available outside, be sure to check out their newly designed patio and decorations.

Thanks for coming along with us as we showed you our favorite places to visit in Fremont.
